Feedback from past students:

“Working with Helen proved to be the first and most important step in my being able to look with a critical and more objective eye at my work. She is an excellent teacher […] she presented us with specific skills and gave us the time, space and confidence to experiment.”

“Helen is a sensitive, thoughtful critic. She offers innovative solutions without intruding on the author’s own creative process. Helen has helped me with short fiction, novels, and nonfiction writing. She is a wonderful reader and supportive mentor.”
